Newbies : starting probs

i have 58 plate deisel zafira

and i have not seen it for a week now vaxhall have it

only had it one and half months but since i got it it has been a night mare to start it will start but after cranking it for 30 seconds had new crank fitted in jan this year so took it to locale dealer who said it was egr valve and changed it (ouch)

got it home still the same seems worse when cold took it back there last week they have rechanged crank pully (under warnty ) and says its better but still not good and are niw testing resistance on the injectors i have read in few forums that bottom crank pully sometimes slips so told vaxhall about this and was told they have looked into it

has any one experinced this and if so what was it

do vaxhall not have a tec line that they could talk to other vax dealers about there experiances and put this one to bed

 it seems silly in this day and age that dealers do not talk to each other and when a customer goes to a service dept and gives a prognosis they should now excatly what the problem is
