I actually fit roof rails on mine yesterday and it is easy
Old roof rails just pull off
the holes are already there (they have plastic screws in)
seen here with them removed

Inside pull the door rubbers down and remove the grab handles and you can gently move the roof lining to allow you to bolt the bars down

At the rear pull the light panel off and unclip the rear window trims and then again bend the roof lining slightly to gain access to the bolt holes

Roof bars were in place and you can see the stud in the above pic, other stud is in that hole
Bolt them down (altogether 8 10mm bolts and job done

Be careful when you remove the trim and reattach as the clips are quite brittle. I only managed to break 2 altogether but had plenty spare from the removed trim, you will see what I mean when you remove them :)
Hope this helps
