make the fix a priority, these rad welds are not good for the aluminum cooling system and should be flushed and coolant replaced with red long life coolant.
screw up a hand full of tissue and push it in around the sum and lower timing casing behind the lower crank pulley on an evening when the car will parked up for the night, make sure you allow the engine to cool for an hour so first, wipe the area clean with a rag, place dry tissue around the area and check to see if the tissue is dry in the morning, if not most likely the pump is knackered and will need replacing before causing problems with £400 + price tags
