Hello!

I've purchased a 2010 Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Design with about 40,000+ miles on the clock.  Today is Day 24 after I got the car.  With the recent sunny weather, I've noticed that the car's aircon isn't up to the task even when it is at #2 with the thermostat (?) turned full left and the aircon button pressed (amber light on).  While this isn't a problem driving around town with the windows slightly open, motorway driving is uncomfortable when driving with the windows down (too noisy) and I can't keep the windows up (too warm!).

When I bought this from the dealer, a 1 year warranty with Warranties 2000/Olympic Warranty was included at Platinum level and the included leaflet says aircon (and all components) is included.  However, after a brief online search, I see a few complaints regarding this company, with some posts as recent as earlier this year.

My family is planning a drive down to London (about 4-5 hour trip, one-way) soon and I would like to get this problem addressed ASAP.  I would greatly appreciate help as to how to go about this.  Should I claim from the warranty company if anything is broken?  Should I claim if it's just some coolant to be refilled?

I'm also a bit worried about the negative feedback regarding the warranty company.  As I'm on Day 24, I am hoping to be able to back out of this by Monday or Tuesday if I need to and get my money back.  However, as I am new to the UK, I do not know which warranty company is best to go with.

Cheers!
