Hi Kerry... The Zafira is actually a good choice for your first car. If you look at the number of them on the roads at the moment, they must be one of the most popular cars of their type around. It is a pity that you are having a few problems with yours at the moment, but I'm sure that it is a reasonably simple fix once you track down the culprit, which I'm still betting is that 20pence fuse! I have been driving around in my Zafira for around 9 years now, and covered well over 100,000 miles. Apart from x2 major issues which, in total, have cost me nearly £1000, I have been really delighted with it as a means of transport. Of course the problem we have on this forum is that, by its very nature, we only really get to hear about the broken ones with a problem or two. But I would lay money on it that there must be hundreds or thousands of others around who, like me have had over 100,000 miles of trouble free Zafira motoring..!! I hope you get yours fixed soon.
