I was going to work one am my car spluttered a bit went up small incline then dead...after a short time 5 min I got going like crap managed to roll 3 mile down hill out of gear as soon as went up slight hill like tiny died..then battery died..put new battery.new glow plugs cleaned out egr .boost sensor so on so forth started it got only clutch pull ..it was going to peter Vardy but was tuff time could not even get it there no money for pick up 13 day to pay day so I figured it was a bucket so no holds Barr I got under neeth and detached the exhaust just before dpf 2 bolts then put one bolt back on a bit so exhaust did not scrap off ground an holy mother the black soot smoked out my street thought bank of mum replaced this but it cost her £ 1400ish god bless her cotton socks but you could try this as away of knowing .car will run but it will pull back due to exhaust beeing detached but then you will know
