Maybe someone can come up with and answer...
I have a 55 zaf 1.9 cdti it was fitted with an old Sony head unit. The trip computer worked on the display but not much else. I have just installed a CD30 ( non mp3 ) and paired screen. All works fine and the steering wheel buttons have new functions.
But now I have no trip functions at all. Does the car need to be running to get the trip to work, as I haven't started it up yet after fitting the CD30.
Do I need to find someone to reprogramme the display?
