Hi there Alan.... A belated welcome to the Owner's Forum! If you've had no replies, it must mean that nobody has any other ideas. Have you tried cleaning out the EGR valve? They tend to get pretty sooty and gunged up which stops the mechanism opening and closing properly. That could help the situation. I've heard other members complain that the pedal test doesn't always work on certain models and you have to get a diagnostic code reader plugged in to see what is going on. If you get a code of 0400, you can be pretty sure that it's something to do with the EGR system. Happy Hunting! Cheers... Robin
