While I was messing about in my car last night, I hooked the op-com up and checked the live ABS readings, it reads a speed for each wheel, and they were exactly the same. I was also able to get feedback on the pedal from the ABS by checking the actuator. Your speedo would work if that one wheel (N/s front ?) is working. OP-com live read-out really seems like the the best option so far.
