I am so grateful for finding this forum on google. My 62plate Zafira (2005-2012), is very poor on fuel.
I bought it from brand new, I dont drive like an idiot (not unless I am rushing).
I have found that if I put £20 of petrol in, then I can expect to do about 120 miles. I have taken the car back to Vauhall (Perrys) and they have told me, theres nothing wrong with it.
Well Sirs I beg to differ, I don't go in for this "hug a tree" environmentalist hybrid nonsense, but at the same time, I didnt buy a nuclear reactor, using fuel like it a penny a litre.
I have 18 months to go before I can change the car, because I bought it on finance on 3 years.
The drive is generally ok, the seats comfortable. I have not a bad word to say about reliability, but I have one eye on the road and the other at the blinking yellow petrol light.
The pie in the face is when it actually flashes up on the radio screen, "Please refuel". Tell me something I dont know.
My average MPG is 32.7 MPG.
