Will this be my last post on this topic??????
After deciding that the injector cleaner wasn't going to be the answer and the misfire was now affecting #1 cylinder, I decided it was time to retrace my steps and look for the blindingly obvious.
I swapped #4 injector with #3 to see if it really was duff, but that made no difference
I then checked every connection and fitting I had removed and all I could find were a couple of inlet manifold nuts that needed nipping up.
So, having run out of ideas, I fired it up and hey presto, no misfire. I cleared the existing codes and hoped for the best. It's now being over a week and there's been no sign of a recurrence. So the problem may have been a vacuum leak, but I don't know for sure.
So if your car's not running properly, try tightening your nuts!
