Hi... Yes, I would agree with Ryan 24 that you should check out your thermostat. The only other thing that springs to mind with these symptoms is that you could have an airlock in the heater matrix feeder pipes. But the favourite has to be a faulty thermostat - take it out of the engine, hang it in a container and pour boiling water over it to see if it opens up. Then put it in cold water to make sure it closes properly. If it doesn't go from being wide open in hot water to being tight shut in cold water, its not allowing the heat to build up to the proper working temperature in the engine and you need to replace it with a new one.
