got your message on astra forum but couldn't log in, so looked here and low and behold.
As far as I am aware you cannot simply switch pumps as they need to be married in to the cars ECU, I could be completely wrong, but I looked at doing a replacement and you can buy a unlocked one or uncoded but had to go to a dealers or someone with a code reader to marry them.
Its took BBA 3 days to return my pump, I was without the car for 5 days as the delivery company messed up on delivery and it didn't arrive next day as I had arranged.
This is by far the best option, I think BBA also offer replacement units but again am pretty sure they need pairing.
